JOB DESCRIPTION:
Requirements: Qualifying for this opportunity requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in Business analysis/ Project management. Candidates will need excellent organization and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with different teams across function and/or geographic lines. Proficiency is required in Access/VBA and SQL. Knowledge of HL7,EDI and Data modeling is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and document requirements and detailed specifications through the life cycle.
- Translate abstract user requirements into well defined, structured business rules and specifications
- Create detailed specifications for data cleansing, data scrubbing, ETL and data migration processes
- Requirements gathering sessions, to define data requirements
- Incorporation of enterprise analysis activities
Required Elements:
- BA/BS degree preferred; 6+ years of demonstrated systems implementation/integration experience with at least 4 years of business analysis experience for large, complex projects.
- Exposure to HIPAA; Hands on knowledge working on IT Systems related to Medicare, Medicaid, clearing houses and other payers
- Possess good working knowledge of industry standard modeling and documentation tools such as ERWIN, Requisite Pro and Visual prototyping tools
- Strong knowledge of Datawarehouse concepts, technologies, and best business practices to include data modeling, data sourcing, data transformation, data loading, data cleansing, data integrity checking, and end-user tools
- Strong, end-to-end understanding and experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)/Agile methodologies
Technical Competencies:
- Proficient with Agile and SDLC
- Proficient with MS Office Tools (eg, Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
Desired Elements :
- Experience with Large federal projects
- Healthcare background
