With 18 years of revenue-cycle management experience, Owens-Frierson was previously a reimbursement consultant and owner of Miami-based Progressive Reimbursement Solution Services, which assisted medical practices with medical reimbursement, billing, collections, ICD-9CM & CPT Coding, healthcare law, and CMS healthcare rules and regulations compliance.

Certified as a professional coder (CPC) and healthcare instructor (CHI) from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and the National Health Association, Owens-Frierson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
