AVISENA CEO ALBERT SANTALO IS PANELIST FOR SOUTH FLORIDA TECHNOLOGY ALLIANCE BUSINESS SEMINAR
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – Albert Santalo, CEO of Avisena, a new kind of billing and collections company serving over 500 physicians and $400 million in account receivables under management, was a panelist of the South Florida Technology Alliance’s (SFTA) latest business seminar—Tech CEOs: How They Implement Their Vision. The seminar focused on overcoming the challenges of implementing a vision throughout a company and took place June 7, 2006 at the Westin in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
This program was beneficial to many start-up companies experiencing the growing pains involved with expanding their business. Some of the topics discussed at the seminar included why CEOs think a vision is important, how they develop their vision, how they share their vision, how they use vision to grow the company and the challenges CEOs face as they move their companies to the next level.
Santalo is President and Chief Executive Officer of Avisena. As a founder of the company he has led the growth of the firm from origination to its current size of approximately $400MM in client receivables. Santalo holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Florida International University and is a member of the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), the Health Care Financial Management Association (HFMA), a 2006 inductee into Florida International University (FIU) Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
